Full-time

Cleveland, OH, US

About the job

Hunger Network, a non-profit organization which envisions that no one goes hungry and no food goes to waste seeks a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager. Hunger Network is the largest grassroots food relief and recovery organization in Cuyahoga County that focuses on minimizing food waste and fights food inequity and injustice by maximizing our community’s access to culturally relevant, nutritious foods.

Our programming includes coordination of a consortium of 79 hunger centers that are strategically placed across the county which provide food supplies, hygiene items, and hot meals to our neighbors who need it most. In addition to bridging the gap between hunger and food waste through the innovative Food Rescue Hero app—which operates via a direct transfer model to ensure fresh food is delivered daily into local neighborhoods—we also operate a food rescue kitchen modeled after successful programs like La Soupe in Cincinnati. This kitchen transforms rescued ingredients into nutritious, ready-to-eat meals, augmenting our impact by reducing waste and feeding more neighbors in need.
