Job Overview


We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing trends.

Duties

· Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.

· Create engaging content tailored to each platform that resonates with our target audience while aligning with our brand message and objectives.

· Play a key role in strategizing and executing impactful social media campaigns and initiatives.

· Foster relationships with our audience by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and fostering community engagement.

· Utilize SEO techniques and best practices to enhance content visibility.

· Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across various platforms using social media management tools, ensuring timely delivery.

· Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening tools.

· Craft regular reports that translate key data points into actionable and strategic recommendations.

· Manage paid social media advertising campaigns on Facebook and other platforms.

· Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

· Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.

· Conduct proofreading to ensure all content is error-free and aligns with brand standards.

· Maintain relationships with influencers and partners for potential collaborations in public relations efforts.

· Coordinate with internal teams to align social strategy with broader campaign goals.

· Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, e-commerce developments, photography, and video editing techniques to keep our strategies fresh and relevant.

· Stay on top of emerging platforms, innovative techniques, and the ever-evolving social media landscape.

· Willing to travel occasionally for trade shows and to create content at various locations.

Experience

· Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, campaigns, or organizations.

· Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behaviors.

· Strong knowledge of public relations principles and branding strategies.

· Ability to conduct social listening effectively to gauge audience sentiment.

· Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

· Excellent content creation skills with a focus on graphic design and video editing capabilities.

· Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, web analytics, and digital marketing strategies.

· Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite).

· Proficiency in web analytics tools to track performance metrics effectively.

· Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategy.

· Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail in content creation and proofreading.

· Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in all written communications.

· Background in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.

· Familiarity with paid social strategy and ad platforms.

· Skills in content creation, video editing, or graphic design.

· A portfolio or social media presence showcasing your work and voice.
