Role Overview

They are looking for a to oversee procurement initiatives related to marketing activities across the company. In this role, you will partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Digital, Retail, and Legal teams to manage agency relationships, improve cost efficiency, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure that marketing investments generate measurable value.

This position offers the opportunity to influence a high-growth, consumer-focused brand by guiding sourcing decisions across all marketing channels, including media, creative, digital, and experiential efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Leadership

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for all marketing-related categories, such as:
  • Paid media (broadcast, digital, search, social, direct mail)
  • Creative, branding, and advertising agencies
  • Digital partners including SEO/SEM specialists
  • Influencer and affiliate partners
  • Research, public relations, events, and experiential vendors
  • Marketing technology and analytics platforms
  • Align sourcing initiatives with annual marketing priorities and campaign plans.

Supplier & Agency Management

  • Select and manage strategic partners across the marketing ecosystem.
  • Drive scoping, RFP development, vendor evaluations, contract awards, and ongoing performance assessments.
  • Oversee KPIs, SLAs, business reviews, and ensure accountability across provider fee structures.

Cost Management & Value Creation

  • Identify efficiency opportunities while safeguarding brand integrity and customer experience.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis in partnership with Finance and Marketing.
  • Provide market insights and industry benchmarks to inform negotiation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work directly with Brand, eCommerce, Retail, and Growth teams as a trusted sourcing advisor.
  • Collaborate with Legal to negotiate and refine contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and licensing agreements.
  • Ensure procurement processes uphold compliance, protect the business, and enable fast activation of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline—or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
  • Minimum of 3 years managing marketing or indirect spend, ideally within consumer-focused industries
  • Demonstrated success running competitive bid processes and negotiating complex agreements
  • Experience working with marketing leaders and agency partners
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modeling and ROI evaluation
  • Effective project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Familiarity with procurement and workflow tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Smartsheet, Monday.com) is beneficial

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model: three days on-site and two days remote
  • Standard Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional after-hours support
  • Travel may be required based on business needs

Compensation

Salary Range: $92,600 – $123,467
