Reporting to the Strategy Marketing Manager and working closely with a team of other marketing professionals, the role of a Social Media Coordinator at Ciconte’s Restaurant Group is equal parts strategist, project manager, and trendsetter. This is an opportunity to join an in-house marketing team with the focus of enhancing and evolving the social and digital presence of more than six unique brands. You should be highly knowledgeable in the digital space and an innovative thinker with a get-it-done attitude. You combine visual and verbal creativity and experience, and demonstrate the skills to stay organized and calm under pressure. You should also love all things social media and be able to apply our brand goals to trends quickly and effectively. Additionally, you will show impeccable attention to detail and an ability to maintain quality of output while working at a fast and constant pace.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the social strategy for all Ciconte’s brands, including planning, writing, producing, and publishing social content across platforms. You must enjoy attending events and working with people and must communicate clearly to keep daily output in step with the larger vision for the campaign. You should also understand the technology and language of social media, and have a vision of its creative potential. You have a passion for social media and copywriting, and a background in developing and implementing different social voices. While a deep knowledge of design tools isn’t required, an eye for design and a background in creating your own content is preferred!
Overall, this is an opportunity to build and maintain the social strategy for multiple in-house brands and work on a collaborative marketing team that services a variety of needs across all of our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & execute social strategies for all Ciconte’s brands.
- Develop the unique voice and tone of each brand and execute it through copywriting & community management.
- Assign tasks to the Marketing Assistant to ensure all concepts are being effectively managed.
- Create processes & workflows to execute social strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with our operations and design teams to bring your unique ideas to life in optimized, harmonious workflows.
- Draft weekly content calendars, including planning all necessary content & copy.
- Prepare and submit briefs for marketing assets needed for campaigns to the Design team, providing clear details via Monday.com.
- Interface with restaurant staff to arrange content captures.
- Create shotlists & content production plans for events; attending in person to manage real-time posting & content capture.
- Work as part of the marketing team to review and check all work before publication, and to share and divide work efficiently.
- Manually schedule and post all social content; assume responsibility for the content and response once published.
- Run community management for social profiles, review sites, and feedback emails. Identify and interact with customers/fans, flag and escalate any potential issues.
- Manage relationships with creators/influencers contracted to promote our brands.
- Propose ideas for content capture in our restaurants, including concepts for jumping on trending sounds & formats.
- Take initiative to pitch new ideas for campaigns and be an active brainstorming partner.
- Stay aware of developments in social media, current trends and memes, technology updates, and top news stories in the food & beverage space.
- Responsible for boosting posts to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok weekly for each brand.
- Coordinate with partners and entertainment acts to gather all necessary marketing materials for promoting their events across our locations.
- Position requirements may be adjusted over time to reflect the evolving needs of the role.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of social media management experience required. Restaurant experience is a plus!
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
- Advanced experience in copywriting and proofreading.
- Experience with native social platforms, social and project management tools (such as Monday.com, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or Slack) required.
- Proficiency in designing social content in-app or via design tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc) required.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of successful digital and social media marketing campaigns.
- Experience building a brand’s social presence from the ground up.
- Experience managing designers/briefing & providing feedback.
- An excellent understanding of the social media industry and platforms.
- Have a consistent pulse on trends, pop-culture moments, and all things internet.
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
