Public Relations Intern

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in media relations, communication, and marketing within a dynamic organization. Duties

• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials using AP style guidelines
• Support the development and execution of media relations strategies to enhance organizational visibility
• Manage and update social media accounts by creating engaging content and monitoring engagement metrics
• Conduct research on industry trends, target audiences, and potential media outlets to inform PR campaigns
• Help organize press events, interviews, and community outreach activities
• Support the creation of marketing materials that align with organizational branding and messaging
• Maintain media contact lists and assist in building relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
• Proofread all outgoing communications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
• Collaborate with team members on various projects related to public relations initiatives
