What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you’ll be the forward-facing force of Spaces Group—building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and shaping workplace environments for some of the most exciting organizations in the region. You’ll be supported by a talented internal team while running your own book of business with independence, strategy, and creativity.
Lead Generation + Business Development
- Actively network through business groups, real estate partners, A&D firms, local organizations, and digital channels to uncover new opportunities
- Identify and qualify high-value prospects within our target customer profiles
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with high-growth clients and emerging industries
- Leverage a consultative sales approach to position Spaces Group as the go-to resource for workplace solutions
Sales Execution
- Build trust with key decision makers and influencers by understanding their needs and motivation
- Lead discovery conversations to define project goals, challenges, and purchasing criteria
- Develop clear, accurate quotes and proposals—and present them confidently
- Partner closely with design, project management, installation, and accounting to deliver seamless project execution
- Serve as the customer advocate throughout the process, ensuring every commitment is exceeded
- Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries, pricing requests, and project issues
Goals + Growth
- Create annual sales plans for major accounts while identifying high-potential new prospects
- Meet quarterly and annual sales + margin goals
- Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and reporting
- Track wins, losses, and leads to support strategic planning
Professional Development
- Build strong product knowledge across MillerKnoll and open-line partners
- Master industry software (CAP, CET, NetSuite)
- Participate in team sales training, continued learning, industry events, and partner programs
- Leverage manufacturer reps and MillerKnoll resources to strengthen your accounts

What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience (industry experience strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAP, CET, and NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to read architectural documents
- Organized, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to juggle multiple fast-moving projects
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently AND with a cross-functional team
- A proactive, “figure it out” mindset and the ability to prioritize and execute

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
