Marketing Intern – E-Commerce & Social Media

Location:  In-Office | Old Town Scottsdale, AZ

Schedule:  Part-Time | January 27 – April 25 (12 Weeks)

Pay:  $15–$18 per hour (DOE)

As we expand into new product lines and prepare for our busy spring/summer season, we’re looking for motivated students to join our  12-week in-person Marketing Internship .

This internship runs  late January through the end of April.

Position Overview

The Sleepyhead Marketing Intern will support our social media, content, influencer, and paid marketing efforts. You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Creative teams to execute real campaigns, build portfolio-worthy work, and gain hands-on experience in the DTC e-commerce world.

This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate excited about marketing, social media, content creation, and working inside a top-performing, fast-growing brand.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer & Affiliate Marketing

  • Assist with influencer outreach, onboarding, and communication
  • Help with contracts, tracking links, and performance reporting
  • Organize creator content and evaluate top-performing posts

Paid Ads & Performance Marketing

  • Assist with TikTok & Pinterest ads
  • Help pull metrics, build basic reports, and analyze trends
  • Support creative testing and audience research

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Brainstorm and film TikTok + Instagram content
  • Draft captions, research trends, and organize content calendars
  • Engage with followers and support community management

Graphic Design & Content Support

  • Create simple branded graphics in Canva or similar tools
  • Assist with creative projects, campaign assets, and mood boards
  • Organize photo/video libraries for upcoming campaigns

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate preferred
  • Interest in marketing, social media, e-commerce, or design
  • Familiar with TikTok and Instagram trends and creators
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in-office in Old Town Scottsdale
  • Prior influencer management or content creation experience is a plus
