The Role
We’re looking for a Creative Growth Manager to lead Plant People’s content strategy and storytelling across social, paid, and retail channels. This role is perfect for someone who’s equal parts strategist and creative director—someone who understands how to build a brand through powerful, scroll-stopping content and how to turn that content into real growth. You’ll own the top-of-funnel creative engine, manage a network of UGC creators and videographers, and bring our mission to life across platforms. - Own and drive the top-of-funnel content strategy across paid, organic social, influencer, and retail channels
- Concept, brief, and oversee production of social-first, high-performing content (UGC, paid ads, short-form video, storytelling series, etc.)
- Hire and manage videographers, editors, UGC creators, and other content partners
- Partner with Growth Marketing to analyze creative performance, run A/B tests, and continuously iterate on winning formats
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Ops, and Sales to bring new products, seasonal campaigns, and retail launches to life
- Ensure brand storytelling is consistent but fresh across platforms (TikTok, Meta, email, YouTube, in-store, etc.)
- Stay plugged into culture, social trends, and the competitive landscape—what’s breaking through, what’s next, and what’s overdone
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in content strategy, creative marketing, social media, or a related role (CPG or wellness brand experience a plus)
- Proven ability to concept, produce, and scale content that drives growth—especially across TikTok, Meta, and IG
- Experience managing creative freelancers (videographers, editors, creators, etc.) and giving effective feedback
- Strong grasp of performance metrics (CTR, ROAS, CAC, LTV) and how creative contributes to them
- A portfolio or track record of work that blends brand storytelling with performance outcomes
- Excellent project management skills—can juggle multiple content tracks, timelines, and stakeholders with calm urgency
- Passion for wellness, plant-based living, and building something mission-driven
