About the job

Public Relations Coordinator

Location: Glendale, CA

Reports to: Head of Brand & Creative

Overview

The Public Relations Coordinator is a hands-on, detail-driven role supporting TACORI’s press, celebrity, editorial, and event initiatives. You’ll manage day-to-day communication with our PR agencies, coordinate jewelry deliveries and returns (often after hours), support editorial storytelling, and help strengthen relationships with editors, stylists, influencers, and retailer partners.

This is a junior but strategic role for someone immersed in the luxury landscape who understands the level of polish required when speaking to a fine jewelry and bridal audience. You should be entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented, excited to grow, and not precious about rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You’ll help expand TACORI’s visibility nationally and locally, supporting our retailer network and elevating the brand to new audiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesPR Execution & Editorial Support

  • Support the Head of Brand & Creative in executing PR strategies across fine jewelry, bridal, and lifestyle verticals.

  • Draft initial versions of press releases, media alerts, editorial briefs, talking points, and story angles.

  • Assist in identifying editorial opportunities and support proactive pitching in partnership with our PR agencies.

  • Maintain detailed media lists, editorial calendars, and contact databases with accuracy and care.

  • Track and report on media coverage, ensuring organized and timely recaps for internal review.

Agency, Media & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison for our PR agencies, ensuring smooth workflow, deliverable tracking, and follow-up.

  • Build and nurture relationships with editors, writers, stylists, influencers, and key partners in a polished, luxury-appropriate manner.

  • Respond to routine media inquiries and escalate key opportunities or sensitive requests to senior leadership.

  • Coordinate distribution of approved brand assets (imagery, logos, credits, product information) to press and partners.

Celebrity, Stylist & Product Coordination

  • Coordinate jewelry pulls, drop-offs, and returns for editorial shoots, red carpet placements, influencer features, and media moments.

  • Personally manage deliveries and pickups as needed — including after-hours and occasional weekend requests typical of the entertainment industry.

  • Partner with the Product and Studio teams to ensure all jewelry movements are properly checked out and returned; no independent inventory management required.

Event Support, Retail Activation & Local Market Elevation

  • Assist in planning and executing press previews, retailer events, activations, and brand experiences across key markets.

  • Support retailer relationships by coordinating local PR, influencer outreach, and community engagement efforts that elevate TACORI visibility.

  • Research local opportunities to expand TACORI’s presence — emerging influencers, cultural events, boutique media, or partnerships aligned with a luxury aesthetic.

  • Manage RSVPs, guest communication, media check-in, and onsite execution for events.

Brand Voice, Quality Control & Communication Standards

  • Proofread all communication materials for accuracy, tone, and alignment with TACORI’s luxury brand voice.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of luxury fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle media to ensure all interactions reflect prestige-level communication standards.

  • Assist with monitoring press sentiment and gathering information during sensitive communications.

  • Ad hoc duties as requested
