About the job

Job Title: Brand Operations Manager

Lumens is seeking a highly organized, systems-minded, and operationally excellent Brand Operations Manager to build the processes, tools, and communication infrastructure that power our brand campaigns across every channel.

The Role:

The Brand Operations Manager will play a central role in unifying how campaigns are planned, documented, communicated, and executed across the Brand Marketing, Creative, Site and Performance Marketing teams. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this individual will own the integrated marketing calendar, standardize processes and briefs, lead cross-functional communication, and ensure all campaign workflows—from annual planning to weekly execution—run with clarity and precision.

This role partners closely with Social, Editorial, Creative, Performance, Merchandising, and Comms teams, serving as the connective tissue that ensures continuity from storytelling, creative, channel expression, and site experience.

The ideal candidate is a natural organizer and communicator with exceptional operational instincts—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, anticipates issues before they arise, and brings structure that enables creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Own and manage the annual, quarterly, monthly, and campaign-level integrated marketing calendars
  • Build and maintain campaign workbacks, ensuring cross-team alignment on timelines, deliverables, and ownership
  • Lead campaign kickoff, routing, and integration meetings, ensuring clarity around goals, audiences, messaging, and landing experiences
  • Translate brand strategy, product stories, and creative concepts into actionable cross-channel plans
  • Ensure continuity across Social, Email, Site, Editorial, Comms, Influencer, and Paid Media channels

Marketing Operations & Process Development

  • Create and maintain a centralized source of truth for all campaign documentation, briefs, timelines, and creative references
  • Standardize briefing templates, approval workflows, reporting formats, and communication systems
  • Audit existing organizational practices and implement scalable processes that streamline planning
  • Maintain documentation hygiene, version control, and team accountability across all brand work
  • Introduce and champion organizational tools (Asana, Airtable, Excel frameworks) that support team efficiency

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as the operational hub for marketing—ensuring teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and expectations
  • Manage weekly reporting around campaign progress, risks, upcoming milestones, and cross-functional needs
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with Creative, Merchandising, Social, PR/Comms, Performance Marketing, and Product/UX
  • Prepare polished, client-ready decks and campaign presentations that communicate plans and progress clearly

Calendar Ownership & Planning Cycles

  • Lead the creation and management of the integrated annual marketing calendar in partnership with Directors and channel leads
  • Evaluate historical calendars to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
  • Run quarterly and monthly planning cycles, synthesizing cross-functional inputs into a cohesive roadmap
  • Ensure that calendar planning avoids duplicative work and mitigates siloed channel activity

Performance, Workflow Optimization & Team Enablement

  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose operational improvements based on data, team feedback, and execution patterns
  • Support resource planning by surfacing capacity needs and operational risks
  • Ensure cross-channel teams are prepared with briefs, timelines, milestones, and campaign requirements
  • Maintain campaign QA readiness—from copy alignment to site experience continuity
  • Bring learnings from campaign performance and process retrospectives into future planning cycles

Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • 5–8 years in marketing or brand operations, integrated marketing, project/program management, or agency production
  • Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional brand or marketing programs
  • Advanced proficiency in project management and planning tools (Asana, Airtable, Excel, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Experience developing briefs, workbacks, and operational frameworks
  • Strong deck-building skills (visual clarity, narrative structure, leadership-ready formatting)
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, digital marketing channels, and cross-channel brand storytelling

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication—crisp, concise, and confident
  • Highly organized with a natural ability to create structure and maintain clarity
  • Strong relationship-builder with the ability to influence
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure
  • Systems thinker with an instinct for optimization and scalability
  • Interest in design, interiors, architecture, or the luxury lifestyle space
