About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly creative Marketing Director to lead all marketing efforts for a growing, consumer-focused Food & Beverage company based in Boston. This leader will develop and execute brand strategy, drive customer acquisition, and elevate the company’s presence across retail, digital, and experiential channels.

This role requires a strong blend of brand management, digital marketing, consumer insights, and product launch experience within the food, beverage, or broader CPG industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy spanning brand, digital, retail, e-commerce, and experiential initiatives.
  • Own the brand vision, messaging, and positioning, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Lead marketing campaign development from concept to execution, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Development, and Operations to align marketing programs with business goals.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content creation, community engagement, and influencer partnerships.
  • Utilize consumer insights, category data, and market trends to shape brand decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Manage product launches, packaging updates, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and monitor marketing budgets, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Manage and mentor a growing marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and high performance.
  • Build and manage relationships with creative agencies, media partners, and external vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or director role.
  • Strong background in food & beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or another fast-paced consumer industry.
  • Proven track record developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Experience leading digital marketing, brand campaigns, and integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear insights and actions.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience growing or scaling an emerging consumer brand.
  • Background managing agencies and external creative partners.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, retail marketing, and modern consumer acquisition channels.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes in food & beverage.
