Marketing Coordinator Job Description Summary of Position: As a Marketing Coordinator for La Vida Hospitality, you’ll play a key role in bringing Crooked Hammock Brewery to life as we open in Raleigh, NC in early Spring 2026. This role leads all local marketing efforts for the unit, ensuring our brand shows up consistently, creatively, and authentically in the community. You’ll execute brand directives on the ground—producing promotional materials, maintaining vibe standards (from TV screens to décor), and translating brand programming into seamless operational execution. Working closely with the Marketing team and local Operations, you’ll activate live programming, craft compelling local messaging, and keep unit goals, challenges, and opportunities top of mind. As our community connector, you’ll build relationships, drive engagement, and champion involvement in local events that bring the Hammock spirit to Raleigh. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Brand Manager and collaborates closely with the Unit Leader. Must Enjoy the Ride!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing strategy to capture the overall goals and plans for marketing, based on the business unit’s overall yearly strategy
- Act as a community builder to identify key community brand aligning partners to drive a positive relationship to increase brand awareness, loyalty, traffic, & advocacy.
- Work in partnership with groups sales team to build two way community relationships to drive traffic
- Plan internal & external marketing events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments and playing co-executor with your operations team.
- Establish relationships with local media outlets/vendors to support the advertising strategies of the brand.
- Act as the liaison between our PR Agency to coordinate media & influencer visits as well as media opportunities for interviews/storytelling.
- In partnership with the brand manager, track & analyze the marketing budget for your units. You will report budget tracking results on a per period basis.
- Provide monthly analytical tracking of marketing efforts to share with the brand team(s) for your units.
- Be a partner to support the content needs for local social pages in collaboration with the brands Social Media Manager.
- Work to build loyalty sign ups and engagement for your units.
- Ensure in house signage of marketing materials are up to date & to brand standards.
- Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
- Utilize Monday.com as a planning and project management tool, keeping it up to date so that local events are planned and promoted in a timely manner
- Live the brand and be a brand ambassador
Qualifications:* College degree in Marketing preferred
- 3+ years of experience in marketing preferred
- A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative
- Working knowledge in various marketing methodologies, including print, television, radio, social media, etc. preferred
- Proficiency in computer usage, record keeping, and filing
- Professional communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong project management skills. A self starting work ethic and the ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt to changing situations
- Microsoft Office skills and proficient in Google G Suite products
- Frequently walk and occasionally bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a standing or sitting position for long periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours is required, including off shifts
