Role Summary:

The Commercial & PR Manager will lead the business development, partnerships, and brand engagement efforts for our hospitality venues. This individual is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities that generate revenue through corporate events, space rentals, private celebrations, nightlife programming, and strategic collaborations. The role combines proactive outreach, relationship management, and creative communication to position our venues as top-of-mind destinations for both business and leisure needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

Prospect, identify, and secure opportunities for corporate events, private parties, product launches, off-site meetings, film/video shoots, brand activations, and nightlife takeovers.

Conduct outbound outreach using cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn engagement, and in-person networking to generate qualified leads.

Maintain and grow an active pipeline of prospective partners, agencies, producers, companies, and event planners.

Present venue capabilities, pricing structures, packages, and value propositions to decision-makers.

Negotiate commercial agreements, deposits, minimums, and deliverables aligned with company standards.

Partnerships & Community Relations

Develop relationships with local chambers, business associations, universities, real estate offices, hotels, coworking spaces, and community groups.

Identify collaboration opportunities that increase venue exposure and expand revenue streams.

Represent the brand at networking functions, B2B events, tradeshows, and community gatherings.

Public Relations & Brand Exposure

Collaborate with marketing to align brand communication, storytelling, press releases, influencer outreach, and digital presence.

Oversee communication strategies that position the venues as premium locations for hospitality, culture, and nightlife experiences.

Client Management

Provide white-glove support throughout the sales cycle: initial inquiry, proposal, walkthrough, contract issuance, deposit, and event handoff.

Manage CRM data, lead follow-up cadence, scheduling, and reporting metrics.

Reporting & KPIs

Track monthly lead activity, conversion rate, committed revenue, and booked events.

Meet or exceed revenue targets set by management.

Required Profile / Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, nightlife, events, sales, PR, or venue management preferred.

Proven ability to network, negotiate, and close business opportunities.

Strong communication skills — verbal, email, and presentation.

Self-starter with hunter mentality, able to prospect and build relationships from scratch.

Comfortable in fast-paced, social, and nightlife environments.

Organized, disciplined, and CRM-oriented (HubSpot / Apollo / JotForm / Sheets preferred).

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Compensation

Base salary + commission structure tied to revenue generated from booked events and partnerships.

Performance bonuses for exceeding quarterly milestones.
