About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Manager to join our growing skincare & beauty brand. This hybrid role will execute digital content creation and marketing strategy across key social media platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our small team to expand our brand’s social presence and voice. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, beauty, community-building, and content creation.
This is a part-time position required to be in-office 1 day per week (Mondays mandatory) in our Dover, MA office from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
Social Media Responsibilities
- Management & Planning: Own and execute the social media roadmap/calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others), including monthly planning and daily publishing/scheduling of content.
- Content Creation: Create and publish original content (text, image, and video) using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Illustrator, and native platform editors. Capture and publish UGC, behind-the-scenes footage, and trend-based content quickly and creatively.
- Trend Monitoring: Monitor trends, platform updates, best practices, and identify emerging platforms and content formats to test.
- Develop Social Voice & Positioning: Define, evolve, and maintain the brand’s social voice and positioning. Ensure published content/social activity upholds brand guidelines.
- Engagement: Build genuine, two-way relationships with the online community. Actively engage with followers: reply to comments, DMs, and tags with timely responses. Conduct brand outreach by engaging with general beauty/skincare content.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report performance metrics, adjusting strategies and content based on insights. Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Influencer Partnerships: Assist in coordinating and executing influencer collaborations. Identify and recommend creator partnerships that support our brand and objectives. Assist with vetting and approval process for influencers and creators.
- Advertising: Assist in paid advertising campaigns and A/B testing through platforms such as META Business Suite, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred (open to all majors).
- 1+ year of experience in social media marketing and content creation (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok) for a brand or business.
- 1+ year of experience with paid advertising through platforms such as META Business Suite, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads Manager preferred.
- Ability to work in-person on Mondays from 10:00AM to 4:00PM in Dover, MA.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop (basic knowledge preferred).
- A keen interest in the beauty industry and content creation.
- Strong creative instincts with a high attention to detail and organization.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamwork-based environment.
