As we expand our footprint across Comic-Cons, Fan Expos, and major pop culture events nationwide, we’re seeking a Pop Culture & Convention Marketing Manager to bring our brand to life on the convention floor and across fan communities.

This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who thrives at the intersection of fan culture, live events, sales, and creative marketing. You’ll own the strategy and execution for Spirit Jersey’s presence at Comic-Cons and fan expos, drive sales during shows, lead influencer collaborations, and build momentum through live activations and content.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for Spirit Jersey’s participation at major Comic-Cons, Fan Expos, and pop culture events nationwide.
  • Manage booth design, logistics, shipping, set-up, staffing, and tear-down with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead sales strategy and operations during shows, including merchandising, staff coordination, POS systems, daily reporting, and on-site incentives to maximize revenue.
  • Coordinate exclusive launches, special activations, and live experiences tied to key franchises and fan moments.
  • Build annual convention calendars with timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities across departments.
  • Develop and manage influencer relations, from identifying creators to coordinating collaborations, seeding product, and driving authentic fan content.
  • Host or coordinate livestreams and fan engagement moments during launches.
  • Provide post-event recaps, sales reports, fan insights, and ROI analyses to guide future strategy.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in event marketing, sales, influencer marketing, brand partnerships, or convention planning.
  • Deep understanding of Comic-Con/fan expo culture and communities.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple large events.
  • Proven experience managing on-site retail or sales activations at conventions or large-scale events.
  • Experience cultivating and managing influencer or creator relationships.
  • Confident in front of the camera or managing creators.
  • Willing to travel regularly to conventions nationwide.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
