Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager (Individual Contributor)

Location: Norcross / Atlanta, GA — On-site or Hybrid
Compensation: $55,000–$60,000 per year (DOE)

945 Industries is a fast-growing U.S. manufacturer of concealed-carry bags, holsters, and EDC accessories, based in Georgia. We design and produce our own gear in-house and work closely with firearms instructors, tactical channels, and EDC influencers across the U.S.

We’re looking for an Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager to fully own and operate both our creator partnership program and social media direction — from researching influencers and negotiating deals to overseeing content quality, posting strategy, and performance analytics.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role — you won’t be managing a team; you’ll be personally managing and executing the entire creator & SMM direction.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Marketing

  • Research and identify influencers within firearms, EDC, tactical, and adjacent niches across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts.
  • Manage ongoing barter and paid partnerships, including negotiation of deliverables.
  • Coordinate shipments, promo codes, tracking links, briefs, and creator timelines.
  • Maintain CRM/spreadsheets of influencers, agreements, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Track and analyze influencer performance using promo codes, links, and platform analytics.
  • Identify top performers, low performers, and recommend scaling or replacement.

Social Media Marketing (SMM)

  • Manage daily brand presence and posting strategy on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Work with in-house content and influencer content to schedule, optimize, and publish posts.
  • Develop posting calendars and theme strategies based on growth and conversion goals.
  • Monitor community engagement: comments, messages, replies, trends.

Content Creation & Evaluation

  • Provide creative guidance to influencers:
  • Hooks and opening angles
  • Key talking points
  • B-roll ideas
  • Filming best practices
  • Review and evaluate influencer submissions:
  • Ensure content quality standards are met.
  • Confirm compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Give actionable revision feedback when necessary.
  • Support underperforming creators by improving scripts, content cadence, visuals, or narrative structure.
  • Identify trends and test new creative formats that convert on short-form platforms.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Compile performance reports:
  • Views, engagement rate, CTR, revenue attribution, ROI.
  • Track cost-per-influencer, content CPM equivalents, and performance vs projections.
  • Tie influencer campaigns and SMM activity back to sales and customer acquisition.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in:
  • Influencer Marketing,
  • Creator Partnerships,
  • Social Media Marketing (SMM), or a cross-functional combination of both.
  • Proven experience managing creators across:
  • Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube/Shorts.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Negotiate barter and paid influencer deals.
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously (pipeline & calendar workflows).
  • Knowledge of:
  • Affiliate tracking systems,
  • Promo codes,
  • Tracking links,
  • Platform analytics dashboards.
  • Ability to:
  • Analyze creator content performance using CTR, ROI, content retention, engagement rates, etc.
  • Optimize strategy based on metrics rather than gut feeling.
  • Strong understanding of short-form and promotional content:
  • Story hooks
  • Script flow
  • Visual storytelling
  • Creator authenticity best practices
  • Experience providing creative feedback and revisions to influencers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to keep:
  • Content calendars,
  • Partnership agreements,
  • Creator payments,
  • Performance benchmarks clean and organized.
  • Comfort handling both outreach + content review responsibilities.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working within:
  • Tactical, firearms, EDC, outdoor, lifestyle equipment niches.
  • Familiarity with:
  • UTM tracking,
  • Creator CRM software,
  • Influencer marketplaces.
  • Shopify e-commerce marketing experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of:
  • Short-form editing or scripting tools,
  • Basic creative direction workflows.
  • Ability to produce simple brand content yourself (reeling clips, basic edits, captions).

Pay: $51,119.15 - $61,562.85 per year
