Fahlgren Restaurant Concepts, the founders of SŌW Plated & SŌW To Go, is looking for an in-house Brand/Marketing/Social Media Manager to handle all internal and external communications with both guests and staff.

We’re a health-inspired restaurant founded on the evidence-based healing power of food. Our delicious menu celebrates fresh, organic, whole food ingredients and the 12 essential nutrients that support optimal mental health, contained with the Anti-Depressant Food Scale. We embrace that food served in its most natural state improves focus, mood, and overall well-being - and we’re looking for an extraordinary communicator to bring that story to life every day.

Position Title / Type:

Internal Brand, Marketing, and Social Media Coordinator to be the voice of our brand online and in store. Must be able to manage content creation, social media strategy, team communications, and community engagement that reflect our mission of Good Food Good Mood.

Key Responsibilities include:

Content & Social Media

  • Create and Schedule high-quality, engaging social media content (posts, reels stories, videos, organizing some influencer relationships, community events, etc.)
  • Align content with key wellness themes, including our focus of the 12 nutrients for brain health
  • Highlight season dishes, community partnerships, chef features, and wellness tips
  • Track performance and engagement metrics to optimize content strategy

Internal communication & Engagement

  • Build internal programs to inspire staff and reinforce our good food good mood mission
  • Coordinate monthly newsletter
  • Develop educational content around the brand’s mission and tenets
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to feature new dishes with nutritional storytelling on how they support mental health
  • Manage internal documents, assets, photos, etc. etc.
  • Working with professional photographers to stage photos

Media Creation

  • Plan and capture photo/video content, working directly with our team
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels
  • Work with Restaurant Team and vendors in sourcing branded, logo'd, packaged goods/materials for sale, distribution
  • Handle day-to-day graphic design needs (business cards, logos, menus, etc. etc. etc.)

Community and Analytics

  • Engage with local wellness influencers and help to find prospective speakers for
  • Analyze audience insights and adjust content based on performance
  • Learn and understand restaurant softwares (POS, Reservation Software, Delivery services) in order to leverage marketing/promotions/paid opportunities to drive revenue, guest count, and success of brand.

Qualifications

  • Passion for health, wellness, food and mental health advocacy. Must be familiar and studied on the Anti-Depressant Food Scale and the works of Drew Ramsey, Uma Naidoo, and other Nutritional Psychologists.
  • 2-3 years of media and content marketing experience (restaurant and wellness industry required)
  • Previous experience working in Hospitality highly preferred (training will be provided working with our teams to learn our culture, verbiage, and the nature of the industry)
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills
  • Proficient with Canva/Adobe Illustrator or other digital editing tools, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other social media outlets, and basic photo/video editing tools
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset

Benefits

  • Yearly Salary based on experience and skills $38,000 - $65,000 (should applicant possess skills to enable projects to be handled in house i.e. photography, content creation, graphic design, the savings will be estimated and included in salary)
  • Expected work week from 25 - 40 hrs, based on volume of work, deadlines, time of year, etc. etc.
  • Paid Time off accrued weekly at a fixed rate to be used on a daily rate.
