Marketing and Operations Assistant

The Marketing and Operations Assistant role is ideal for applicants seeking part-time, full-time entry-level, or early professional experience (with 0-2 years full-time experience previous). This role is intended to start as a part-time role (half to 2/3rd full-time) and transition to full-time within one year.

This role will support marketing activities and company operations across marketing, sales, brand, procurement, products, and customer experience. As a result, the Marketing and Operations Assistant role is expected to provide abundant opportunities to learn and grow in a consumer product (CPG) and consumer health business setting.

Primary (or core) responsibilities and projects include:

  • General support for our marketing, sales, and branding team.
  • Email marketing: planning, graphics, composition, formatting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Social media: planning, creatives, captions, formatting, scheduling, and execution across our social media platforms.
  • Online advertising: planning, campaign set-up and targeting, creative elements and captions, scheduling, and execution – within search engine, online marketplace, and social media platforms.
  • General support for our customer and company operations.
  • Monitoring and analysis of incoming order lists and customer lists.
  • Preparation of shipments to fulfill customer orders (direct-to-consumer and wholesale).
  • Supporting procurement of office supplies and special items related to marketing/selling campaigns.
  • Supporting product-related logistics and communications with vendors.
  • Assembly and reporting of performance metrics for sales, email marketing, social media, website traffic, and online advertising.

Secondary (or future) responsibilities:

  • Contributing to end-to-end marketing efforts from strategy, concepts, planning, and execution.
  • Contributing to strategy, creative concepts, and messaging for email, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Engagement with accounts on social media channels, including liking, reacting, or commenting on posts.
  • Interacting with customers, potential customers, and social media followers to answer inquiries or resolve customer experience issues.
  • Contributing to content for marketing, white paper, and educational resources, including concept, authoring/composing, creatives, and delivery.
  • Relationship-building and maintenance with online influencers/affiliates.
  • Contributing to brand development, including brand identity and core message development.
  • Supporting website design and updates.
  • Supporting customer experience, success, and retention activities.

Preferred skills, competencies, and interests:

  • Passion for areas such as nutrition, health, wellness, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and marketing and selling.
  • Willingness to work in a start-up environment, including a “roll-up-the-sleeves” attitude to perform diverse tasks as-necessary to achieve company objectives.
  • Strong working and learning ethic – a service orientation.
  • Ability to accept and implement constructive feedback.
  • Strong team player, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative, changing environment.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience in educational and/or marketing copy writing (or desire to learn).
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to create documentation or presentations that are clear, succinct, and high-impact.
  • Intrinsic desire to learn about consumer behavior, attitudes, and expectations and translate them into marketing strategy, marketing content, and product concepts.
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience or willingness to learn various platforms for business purposes (e.g. Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Business Suite, Pinterest).
  • Ability to type.
  • Experience with basic video editing (not required, but preferred).

Educational background:

  • Graduate / recent graduate / expected graduate of undergraduate program in marketing, business, nutrition, life sciences, or adjacent fields.
  • Preferably, interest or concentration in marketing, online content marketing, e-commerce, brand development and/or entrepreneurship.
  • Preferably, exposure to the life sciences, nutritional science, and/or pharmaceutical or nutritional supplement industries.

Structure and duration:

  • Part-time (half or 2/3rd), with transition to full-time within one year of start (or earlier).
  • Expected start date: November or December 2025.

Location:

  • In office in Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV (not remote).

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skill sets, and level of relevant education.

Pay: $35,500.00 - $42,500.00 per year
