The Shopping Assistant supports customers during their in-store experience by providing product guidance, answering questions, and ensuring a positive, efficient shopping environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while helping drive sales through friendly engagement and knowledgeable support.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and offer assistance in identifying products
Provide basic product knowledge and help compare options
Maintain a clean, organized shopping area
Ensure displays remain presentable
Assist with locating items within the store
Answer customer questions and direct them to appropriate resources
Report any issues with inventory, safety, or customer concerns to store leadership
Support promotional activities or special events as assigned

Requirements:

Strong communication and customer service skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required
