The #1 Cochran Marketing Team is searching for a social media professional to amplify our brand, promote our stores and grow our legions of followers and fans. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity and a flair for generating content that engages, informs and inspires audiences across our social media platforms.
In this role, you will collaborate with our store teams, coordinate and attend local events, and interact with online communities to cultivate loyalty to our company and relationships with our dealerships. Responsibilities
- Create fresh, original and engaging content for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and others
- Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement and increase traffic to our websites and showrooms
- Maintain a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent postings, timely content delivery and alignment with our broader marketing campaigns and promotions
- Work closely with store teams to brainstorm ideas and develop high-quality content
- Analyze social media performance and competitive data, providing monthly reports, insights and recommendations to optimize our efforts
- Actively engage with our online communities, responding promptly and courteously to comments, questions or concerns
- Monitor social media tags for #1 Cochran mentions
- Employ social listening techniques to report the pulse of important conversations
- Coordinate and attend community and store events to foster relationships and capture visuals
- Manage content distribution for our multiple Google Business Profiles
- Ensure all store information is up to date and accurate across all social channels and GBPs
- Research trends, market conditions, consumer behavior and industry news to incorporate into strategies
- Identify and build relationships with relevant local influencers and organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, advertising, PR or similar
- Minimum of two years of social media experience with demonstrated success in driving engagement and followers
- Automotive and/or advertising copywriting experience is a huge plus
Skills/Prerequisites
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple stores and social channels simultaneously
- Excellent creative writing skills with a keen eye for design
- Effective time management and meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, healthy sense of urgency and superior work ethic
- Exceptional camera skills and ability to create eye-catching, on-brand visuals and videos
- Strong knowledge of photo and video editing software or apps
- Proficient in using social media management and analytics tools
