HEAD USA is recruiting a Winter Sports Sales and Promotions Associate. This position will be based in the Northeastern region of the US. Candidates will need to reside within the geographic location or relocate to be considered for this role.
SUMMARY
The Winter Sports Sales and Promotions Associate (“SPA”) will work closely with HEAD’s Alpine Services Manager to coordinate internal company goals with those of HEAD’s independent sales representatives. This person will require strong discipline, time management and interpersonal skills, as they will attend and host numerous events as a representative of HEAD USA, with a clear goal of increasing sales through excellent customer interaction. A team player, the SPA will travel extensively to HEAD’s partner retail stores, ski areas, and wherever ski and snowboard-related events might take place within their greater assigned region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provide world-class service to our U.S. account base, sales team, athletes, VIPs, and influencers.
· Maximize brand visibility through excellent events, such as consumer “demo days” and various industry-sponsored events.
· Attend trade fairs, sales/marketing meetings, various in-office meetings, and focus groups, as agreed to with HEAD’s Alpine Services Manager.
· Give SWAG and POS to consumers and dealers for prominent brand exposure.
· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring HEAD/Tyrolia are well-represented across the region.
· Support the regional independent sales reps at various industry events.
· Work with HEAD and independent sales reps to increase shop, pro, and other industry sales.
· Identify U.S. market trends and communicate them with the HEAD product development team in Boulder
· Assist communications with strategic partners to maximize brand and product exposure. Build and maintain strong industry relationships.
· Assist winter sports sales and marketing team in various capacities.
· Be a category expert on the HEAD and Tyrolia product collections and to be able to present key models and technologies. Act as a brand representative at sales meeting, trade shows, and consumer events.
· Be active in social media. This position would have a professional social media profile, tracking their travels, the events they attend, their time with HEAD accounts, and their time on snow.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Above average Excel experience is required. Responsible for month end reports and additional Excel reports that are provided to the group.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Strong understanding of business and marketing
· Strong skiing and/or snowboarding ability (e.g. PSIA Level 7 or above)
· Expert-level retail snow sports industry knowledge
· PC literate with skills in Windows and Microsoft Office software
· Organization, high-level attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and positive attitude
· Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as necessary
· Knowledge of core functions of major social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
· Ability to lift and move items up to 50+ pounds
· Ability/Willingness to travel domestically up to 75%
· Safe driving record
· Ability to drive a large truck and/or van
· Ability to independently set up and host on-snow demo days
· An enjoyment of socializing in a professional environment
· Excellent time management and interpersonal skills

Pay: From $53,000.00 per year
