We have an exciting opportunity to join as a Market Lead for the Caribbean
The Market Lead is a dedicated, passionate brand champion, embodying the essence of the brand, with the goal to help make the Edrington Portfolio a leader in the ultra-premium sector. The Market Lead will be focused in the on and off-premise channels, and will spearhead building brand awareness and relevancy in the market through their trade and consumer engagement. Accountable for market execution of brand education platforms, brand sponsored events, building trade relationships, developing a network of influencers, as well as partnerships with local area luxury lifestyle brands. This position will work together with the local distributor network to drive business volumetrically, as well as increase distribution within each of their target accounts. This position is for a self-starter, someone who is highly driven to succeed, and enjoys going the extra mile to achieve results.
Make an Impact
Reporting to the Market Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Being field based, you will manage the call cycle and maintaining an updated account visit calendar, with focus on key accounts in the account segmentation mapping. You will spend approximately 10% managing our distributor partners and 90% with Key accounts.
- Cover all target accounts within the market establishing solid commercial relationships and representing the brand
- Work as partner to local commercial teams to assist in the development of target accounts, primarily focused Off-Premise, while ensuring smart distribution in key target accounts
- Work with local distributor network to increase volume and distribution within targeted accounts
- Align focus with local program calendars and/or distributor network focus periods to optimize investment and time management
- Drive brand visibility and traction in the off premise, assist in closing distribution gaps in e-commerce retail customers where permitted
- Capture and report all trade and consumer interactions and activations in Aforza
- Work with the local commercial Area Manager and Brand Marketing to implement a range of trade and consumer marketing activities consistent with brand strategy within the local market
- Build influencer networks to include collectors and professional groups and connect these to the Brand Specialists / Ambassador for them to build relationships with the brand Responsible for the management and best use of annual personal travel and entertainment budget and effective use of A&P funds for activations Your Talent and Skills
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven individual with a strong background in premium or luxury brand building and commercial capabilities. Ideally, you’ll have previous experience as a Brand Ambassador/Brand Specialist or equivalent experience, and be a motivated self-starter with a charismatic, and professional presence. You’ll thrive in fast-paced environments, with exceptional organizational skills and a talent for managing and producing standout events.
If you’re confident in networking, selling, and engaging with diverse audiences, and you’re comfortable using social media and technology to enhance presentations, we’d love to hear from you. You should be able to read a room, adapt your training style, and take pride in working independently. Strong influencing and negotiation skills, inspiring public speaking abilities, and a meticulous eye for detail and customer service are key. This full-time role requires flexibility, including evening and weekend availability, and a passion for delivering excellence at every touchpoint.
Given this role is covering the Caribbean, regular travel will be required (approximately 50-60% of the month).
