About the Job:

We’re looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented storyteller who lives and breathes social media. As nailsaloon’s Social Media + Marketing Coordinator, you’ll focus on creating engaging content, building influencer relationships, and supporting events and brand activations. This role is perfect for someone who LOVES social content, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to grow with a trend-driven, luxury beauty brand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and edit short-form video content (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Develop creative ideas aligned with brand voice and culture
  • Manage community engagement (comments, DMs)
  • Support influencer partnerships: outreach, communication, tracking
  • Assist with events: influencer visits, activations, in-salon experiences
  • Draft content calendars, captions, and email newsletters
  • Track performance metrics and propose new content ideas
  • Provide general marketing support (shoots, giveaways, campaigns)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of social media/content experience with proven results
  • Strong skills in video editing and graphic design (CapCut, Canva, Adobe preferred)
  • Excellent writing/captioning ability
  • Understanding of social trends, meme culture, and what makes content pop
  • Proven track record of growing engagement and followers
  • Organized multitasker with strong communication skills
  • Bonus: experience with influencers, events, or PR

Offer:

  • Location: Flexible, hybrid: mostly remote with some in-person content capturing. Preferably based near Washington, DC or NYC.
