Account Development Manager – Monitoring & Automation Solutions

Dallas, Texas Hybrid

Responsibilites:

Seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our advanced monitoring and automation solutions. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, understanding client challenges, and positioning our technologies as the trusted choice for fault detection, diagnostics, and real-time performance monitoring in industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring experience in industrial technology, IoT, or automation sales, with a strong background in monitoring and control systems.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the monitoring and automation space
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers to generate leads
  • Analyze client needs and recommend tailored monitoring solutions that deliver measurable value
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Track competitor activities and industry trends, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to create sales tools and resources
  • Support sales teams with target account planning and execution
  • Attend industry conferences and technical events to build relationships and promote solutions
  • Report on sales forecasts, business development activities, and performance metrics to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • 5+ years in business development or technical sales within industrial technology, automation, or IoT
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring technologies and integrated control systems
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business, managing accounts, and closing sales
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, compelling business terms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events
